JR East Group: Counseling service desk for compliance
The JR East Group runs a counseling service desk for compliance based on the intent of the Whistleblower Protection Act. The desk allows the employees of the JR East Group to take counsel on or report the “recognition of any action in violation of or in possible violation of compliance or corporate ethics” within the JR East Group. It also allows the employees of companies with business relationships with the JR East Group to take counsel on or report the recognition of any “facts to be reported” as defined in Article 2-3 of the Whistleblower Protection Act.
